ABOUT ME

Currently have plans to travel to London for 6 days, from March 16th - March 21st. I am gong with a group of assorted friends, but was hoping to mix it up with some couch surfing and some hostels. Would love to meet people who know the city and can maybe even go on some adventures out and about!

My name is Katie and im 24 years old. I live just in Seattle in the state of Washington. I am in school for Cosmetology and hope to kick as at my chosen profession one day. I love to meet new people and partake in crazy activities/shenanigans and random adventures. I'm pretty spontaneous and outgoing and my friends tell me I'm pretty damn nice. My goal in life is to travel as many places as I can, make many new friends and grow as a person.

I love taking photos with my digital camera and uploading to my new Flickr.com page. Sadly I dont own my dream SLR. SOmeday though! Japanese food tends to be high on my life of things I love to eat.

I tend to be pretty open minded and up for many things. One of my main passions is going out and dancing with friends. I had a rock climbing accident last fall and broke my right leg. That sucked really bad but taught me all about patience and asking for help from others.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to spend time with people who add positivity to my life, and who inspire me to be the best person I can.

I tend to be very open minded and accepting of people from all walks of life.

I am able to host one person 1-2 nights on my raised air mattress. And also show people around a bit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met and hung out with a surfer last fall on the island while in Hawaii.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the coolest things I was able to do was travel to Burning Man 07 and 08. It was so amazing and it changed me as a person for the better.

I have plans to attend for a 3rd time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I draw, paint and mess around with photography. I started learning to hoop dance and want to continue with that. Was rock climbing, but that came to a grinding halt when I broke my leg doing it Fall of 08
