ABOUT ME
I moved to Juneau to find my way home after living in Colorado for almost 20 years. I loved it there, although I still considered myself an Alaskan...I like wide open spaces, big happy dogs, running rivers and streams, bird song, puttering around in the garden, Sunlight, flowers, bugs,(especially the ones that don't bite: )The Ocean. I love to get up in the morning to do quiet morning things while the rest of the world is asleep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent a bit of time on hostel bunks, couches, floors, boats, and outside on the ground in the coarse of a lot of traveling. My couchsurfing experiences range from exploring the wilds of Baltimore to chasing waves at Oceanside, with great conversations in between.

Checking out other people's farms and gardens or landscape projects, Listening to stories, trying out different kinds of non alcoholic drinks, Working with Animals, Humanity in general.

Was looking over the side of a big ship, dead in the water, miles from the middle of nowhere. Watched a sea turtle swim right into our starboard side...Bonk!..thought, now there's something you don't see every day.

I can share about travel and Wwoofing experiences I've had in the past, laugh about fun stuff, tell really bad jokes, and give basic instructions for dog mushing.
I would love to learn anything about surfing, paddle boarding ocean swimming, sailing, local plants and wildlife.
I find it fascinating to listen to other people's travel stories.

Happy to help with cooking and cleaning, please just point out where the clean dishes go...I have been known to hide things in cupboards where they don't usually reside.
