About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living, Loving, Learning, Laughing - Making New Friends in New Places
ABOUT ME
Experience driven individual looking to learn a bit more about this world and to figure out what I can do to make it a better place (I'm a MBTI ENFP). I love getting to know people, sharing a meal, sharing a roof and spending time around the campfire. Up until recently, I played rugby, but I continue to love traveling and eating and doing outdoorsy stuff (hiking, climbing, snowboarding). I've spent a month living in the Amazon jungle in Peru, a week building homes in New Orleans and went backpacking across Southeast Asia a couple of years ago. Before I finished grad school, I worked and lived in Europe for 2.5 months.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working on scientific questions related to how antibiotics work and how different diseases become resistant. If you find science, global health, development, food, spirits or travel interesting, I think we will have some great conversations.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is precious and I want to live it fully.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I guess I'm not so new to CouchSurfing anymore, but I still love it! Looking forward to both surfing and hosting (or even just hanging out). If you come visit, we will very likely eat very well.
