PHILOSOPHY

I believe that it is important to always be learning and growing in general... to not just let everything pass by you with no interpretation or even thoughts as to why something might have been significant. to stop and smell the roses, the lilacs, the pine trees, and the eucalyptus trees.

I believe that it is very important to remain genuine and sincere, even in the worst of situations and settings.

I believe in common decency, honesty, and treating everyone with respect, including yourself.

I believe in altered states of mind and consciousness

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

whenever i have a couch or bed or floor or yard to share, i share it. i've hosted (and surfed) all over michigan, oregon, california, ohio, illinois, north carolina, new york city, etc. now i am surfing driveways to park my RV in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my lovely brother tim turned me on to couchsurfing years ago while he was traveling around the country to attend music festivals. ever since we both have been all over america sleeping on couches and offering a couch whenever possible. personally, some of my current closest friends have come from couchsurfing and some of my favourite travel experiences as well.

Interests

where should i begin? photography, traveling, writing, making music, documenting life as i see it, watching the grass grow, drinking tea, hugging, talking to strangers, thrift and antique shopping, experimenting with cooking, not paying rent, meeting all kinds of people, reading, learning, growing, changing...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

last year i quit my day job (which was at a tea-house in portland) and convinced my lover (and my cat) to join me on the road! we bought a 1977 toyota dolphin which we put a good amount of work into and are now traveling and living on the road.
