CURRENT MISSION

My current mission... I am a medical student who's coming to Orkney for a 3 week elective placement in Stromness. I need somewhere to stay but I want to make the most of my trip and really explore this beautiful island and get to know some of the inhabitants! (I'm a keen cyclist, so I was planning on hiring a bike.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing, but so far have had two wonderful experiences with hosts in Beziers and Nimes, although I was unsure what to expect I am now sure that couchsurfing is one of the most interesting ways to travel, allowing you to see a region from the perspective of the people who know it best.

Interests

I love the sea, both being on it and in it and I'm a keen sailor and swimmer. I also love cycling fast on sunny days. I'm interested in most things, I am as at home wandering around a museum as I am exploring the countryside.
