About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out what I want to do now that I've graduated from university!

ABOUT ME

During these 25 years that I've walked around this globe, I've seen magical forests, stepped on dogpoo, runned away from chasing horses and found myself in places where all I can understand is that I don't understand anything. And I've understood that all the kilometres of wondering have made me the person who tries to balance between the love for coffee and tea, enjoys strolling around without a destination, aims to become a geographer, has dreams full of colorful creatures and silly incidents, covers her walls with maps and buys dinosaur plates from children section at a store.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that small things, like smiling and listening to your favourite songs, make life worth living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my addiction and I couldn't live without it. Countless times has listening cheered me up, solved my thoughts and given the feeling of freedom. I have a shelf where Neil Young, Belle & Sebastian and Bob Marley stand happily next to each other.

I don't like movies that are predictable and make me feel that I just losted two hours of my precious time. So that might be the reason why I haven't seen so many films beause I don't want to be disappointed. Anyhow, I've my favorites which are for example 500 days of Summer, Amelie, Intouchables and Fried green tomatoes not to forget Hayao Miyazaki's films.

Some of my favourite writers are Erlend Loe, John Irving, Haruki Murakami, Khaleid Hosseini and Tove Jansson. And surely J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter has always a place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was inter railing in Croatia, we went to an amazing nature park which was more like a set from a disney film. The place was full of lakes shimmering in different shades of blue and the water was so clear. I wouldn't have been shocked if I'd seen a talking deer in the magical forest.

I also find it very amazing that I hitchiked with my friend to a four star hotel for free in Berlin. Unbelievable!

Teach, Learn, Share

Last autumn I decided that it's time for me to learn the magnificial art of knitting after many years of avoiding it. (The reason for that might be the beanie that ended up being a headband when I was at elementary school..) And after many "help me!"-phone calls to mum and youtube videos named "knitting for dummies", I was able to wear woollen socks made by me! And now I'm so hooked. So if you want to learn to knit, I could help!

And just sayin', I know how to bake the best pancake on Earth.
