Overview
About Me
I worked for an airline all my working life and still enjoy traveling and especially getting to know people from different parts and cultures of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is the best way to explore different countries and their people since by sleeping in hotels or hostels you don't meet people from the country or town you are staying in. I am very interested in how people from other cultures think about current issues, politics and common welfare.

Classical music, oldime jazz but also pop music if it is not too loud. I am reading a lot about politics and economics, sometimes also a good novel or crime story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Budista monks and rebels in Myanmar, the remains of the first "Gulag" on Solovetsky Islands, glaciers in Argentina/Chile and studying Spanish in Guatemala
