Hey everyone!

I am Héloise, a 33 years old special needs educator, I look after teenagers with behaviour issues and mental diseases.
I currently live in Bordeaux, France, but I used to live in Auckland, New Zeland.

I am totally fond of Arts, especially painting, engraving and drawing. My favourite artists are Egon Schiele, Gustave Doré, Jerome Bosch, Gustav Klimt, Keith Haring...
I love reading books, poetry.
I like sweet white wine, cheese and above all chocolate.
I like singing (even if I am a terrible singer), playing board games, sometimes pretending I'm a good dancer.
I could be talkative and a bit extrovert.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used Couchsurfing to be hosted as I couldn't host people. My first experience (7 years ago) was so great, I met people who are now my friends.
Then I started to host people and I met amazing ones. Discovering new human being is so great, you could teach me about your culture, the music you love, the food (only vegetarian ones)

I read a lot, but my favorite books are :
- La nuit des temps , Barjavel
- Les fleurs du mal, Baudelaire
- La nef des fous, Sébastien Brant
- and everything from Jules Verne.

The music I love is pop, rock, classical, french old songs... like Radiohead, Noir Désir, Barbara, Jacques Brel, Mahler, Rachmaninov...but I also could listen to IAM, Eminem...

I am not into movies but I loved La vita è bella, The Lion King and Shutter Island.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job and bought an only one way ticket to New Zeland.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my good mood with hosts and some travelling stories. I am someone very joyfull, optimistic. I can bake cookies or chocolate mousse.
