Hi! We are a family of 4, living in the west of France, close to the Atlantic Ocean. 👷‍♂️Antony (42)👩‍💻Hélène (38) 🙋Timéo (6) and 👶Matéo (17 months). We live in a house with a garden, in the area of Nantes, with our cats 🐱Ducat, 🐱Godzi and 🐱Yoko.

🌎 Before the children were born, we traveled together around the world for several months (Guatemala, Venezuela, Belize, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Thailand and Malaysia, then later to Canada).

💬 For us, traveling means meeting people, discovering the customs of other countries, immersing ourselves in the local culture, and experimenting different lifestyles, by coming into contact with the population. We have been invited by locals several times, thanks to matchmaking websites, or due to pleasant meetings along the way, and also helped out during various workaway experiences. Then we returned to Europe, and Hélène lived and worked for 2 years in Germany, just before the children were born in France.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would like to host familles with children to make friends from all over the world. Open our minds to other cultures and different ways of life.

Interests

I love so many things that I am always very busy :))) And as I really don't like routine, I am always trying to learn something new and experimente more and more! For some things I remain a never-grown-up girl, discovering the world with child's eyes! I don't need a lot to be happy.
Have a walk in the nature or along the sea, watch a movie with friends, cheese & wines dinners, cooking for my friends or family, shopping, motorbike driving, japanese food, zumba, drawing, painting, photography, all kind of outdoor sports, ... and so much more!
I was used to run once or twice a week because I think that sport is essential for self welness, even if I am having a break for the moment for medical reasons. I have got 2 lovely cats who take part of my life for a few years, and a cute kitten. As I was also pet-sitter 12 years long, I was used to take care of pets for friends or family during their vacations.

📚 Unfortunately I am not particularly attracted by reading books... except books talking about pet wellness, feng shui or touristic guides :)
