About Me

“It doesn’t matter where you are, you are nowhere compared to where you can go.”

From the young age I was always fascinate by the people living in other parts of the world. During the school day I was a avid pen-friend maker. I am still in contact with my friends in USA and Germany. Learning about there culture and way of life has been a search of holy grail for me.
I have that wanderlust in me which I know can never be satisfied. Learning about religions and meditation technique has also been another point of interest for me.
During my college days I left my home and stayed with ISKCON people, shaving my head and chanting Hare Krishna. I also stayed in Buddhist monastery for few days to learn what Lama's do.
I have strong incline to stay with nature which I fulfill by going on treks around this region. I love photography. Painting, writing songs and poems. Cooking and trying new dishes. so I am a simple guy! :-) with lots of dream. Want to explore the world. Like taking to people and share there culture, food and know there ideology.
Right now I have quit my computers related job and l'm full time businessman at sweets and confectionery shop and help my wife run Girls hostel at my home.
I'm good at public speaking and much better as listener. Extra consious about cleanliness and super flexible when it comes to travelling plans! :-)

One of my favorite quote;

" Be kind to strangers...you might be a strange one day"! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been in association with club like Intaract, and then with Rotaract the junior wings of Rotary International. After joining couchsurfing I realized what great job it is doing. Couch surfing is great way to say - Thank you! to the world I live in. Also after some years I want to go for a world tour to visit all the countries of the world to spread the message of brotherhood, peace and Love. Also I would like to teach YOGA as a mission of my travel where ever I go. I would like to meet all the Rotary Clubs on my way...where ever I go sharing my thoughts about poverty, education, health and children. Trying to make this place a better world than I came to.
Also looking forward for a cultural exchange and serious friendship for lifelong.
