ABOUT ME

I am an interesting mix of an artist and a scientist. I have two degrees in fine arts and I am getting ready to start a degree in computer science (update: I started and I decided it wasn't for me). I have always loved math, science and computers. Since graduating from university with my first degree in 2001 I hava always worked as a computer programmer, usually part time and freelance or project based work. Most people think it is a strange combination, art and programming, but I think it is perfectly natural.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take anything personally. (Well that is what I believe anyway. In practice it is very hard to do.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love cooking so I am always up for having a home cooked meal together at my place. If you are interested I will even show you how to make tofu from scratch. Yes from scratch. I start with dried soybeans to make tofu.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a couch surfer who was staying at a friends house. That is how I found out about it. Then I tried it myself. I met someone for lunch and hopefully I will do a lot more surfing in the future...
...now I am in the future. I went to a couch surfing event. I met a bunch of ambassadors from Berlin and all over Germany. We traveled to a music festival together and three of them surfed at my place. I hope to do a lot more surfing and hosting in the future...

Interests

Art (making it), philosophy (I love talking about different ideas), computer programming, hobby electronics and robotics, sustainability, eating organic and healthy food (mostly vegetables).

For a while I was into making my own tofu from scratch. That means I make the tofu from dried beans. If you come stay with us I'll show you how if you are interested. We can also make soymilk.
