ABOUT ME

Since summer 2012 I am working in an international company in Bayreuth in Germany.

I LOVE travelling and my greatest wish is to visit every country of the world at least once in my life.

The problem about this is - I also love all the countries that I have already visited and I would like to go back to discover them further ;)

Meeting people from all over the world who can show me their cultures and coutries is the best when it comes to travelling. An other thing is the wildlife, plants, landscapes,... that you can discover in all the different countries. Sleeping in tents or in treehouses, walking through forests and parks and watching the sun set and the sunrise is just amazing.

As I love animals I just eat vegetarian food (and fish) and sometimes chicken. (I had a many discussions about that, but.. well. I love cows and pigs more than I love chicken.. so.. ;) )

Swimming and skiing are my favourite sports but I am open for everything. I didn't try any sport yet that I didn't like at all.

PHILOSOPHY

I love nature and I try to protect it, and save energy when and whereever it is possible. That might be annoying for some of the people I work and live with, but they have to accept it. :D

This is why I am also doing foodsharing since a year, when we founded the foodsharing group here in Bayreuth, which works extremely well, which makes me very happy :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love surfing and hosting. As I have a flatmate that is not too keen to meet new people that way, I can only host people when she is not there ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already stayed at different places in the US, Vietnam and Germany and all people I met were amazing. Some even helped me out of emergency situations where I did not find a place to stay. THANKS for that!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was in Algonquin National Park for camping (just one night) and I was standing at the lake at night, no one around, only the forest, the moon and stars, and suddenly I heard wolfs on the other side of the lake. Fantastic!(and scary)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Swimming? I think I am a quite good swimmer, but a baad teacher. But perhaps someone can teach me to be a good one :)

Oh, and I can prepare Spätzle - the tipical pasta from Switzerland or the south of Germany! I love experimental cooking :D not all my friends like what I cook, but I prefer improvising and not always cooking the same stuff ;)

Eventually I can teach you all the stuff that I learned in university. And German. I found out that my knowledge about German Grammar is quite good in comparison to others ;)

And French ? Lived there for 2 years, so I should be an okish French speaker

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I am completely flexible, means, if you are stressed out I am very happy about your tipps about the 10 must sees in your city. and I will discover them on my own. In the evening I can cook for you or we can go out for dinner,...

If you are up to show me around, I am of course super happy ;)

I am not complicated, quite, love animals (can also go for walks with dogs), no special needs and wishes ;)
