About Me
“To move, to breathe, to fly, to float,
To gain all while you give,
To roam the roads of lands remote,
To travel is to live.”
- H. C. Andersen
Before you contact me, please read my profile.
I am a young woman who is dying to see the world and encounter other cultures.
Right now I'm doing my exchange semester in Finland 🇫🇮
I love to spend time with travellers and people who live in the area I go to, who might be able to show me all the good stuff and do what they love about there place.
For people coming to my "city", I love to show them Odense, where I'm currently living - which is quite famous because of the poet H. C. Andersen, you should come by and check it out.
Besides from that, I'm just an open-minded, caring person with a positive view - at least I like to think so.
I'm a frequent traveller, been to a few places in Africa, Central Asia, a good part of Europe, South East Asia and Australia.
"Don't come to my doorstep if you are hunting for sugar" - I know it is passive-aggressive, but I met some guys thinking that's the point of meeting up, and it is not for me. So I would like to know if you have seen this quote, by copy and paste it when you contact me. - don't expect me to answer if not.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Easy way to meet people, experience different culture, sharing experience, eat delicious food, encounter a variety of ways to live.
I'm also on CS to show off Denmark, especially Odense. I know it is expensive to travel around, but as a local, cheap-ass student, I know how to get around, what to see, what to do, what to eat - quite affordable, just ask if there is anything you wanna know.
I got a list of stuff to do in Denmark.
Interests
Travelling, just like most people on CS. But I also do fancy art, I draw a lot on my own. I love nature, hiking, camping, diving - just being outside is wonderful. All my friends call me a nerd, and it quite surprises them how geeky I can be.
I want to experience more live music and classical events.
I rarely back down and love to try new things, at the moment I'm trying to at least do one new thing a week!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can not stick to one:
As cliché as it is, after start using Couchsurfing, I've added a new level to my travel - I meet people and try things I wouldn't have done without this community - and it is absolutely wonderful.
Besides from that, I've travelled to India on my own, and it was a game changer, it really changed how I see the world and myself today.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want you to teach me about your country want to learn about your culture, and share a great time with you.
I can offer a free tour in Odense, it sounds like there is a lot to see, there is not - but I'll show you anyway! ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring treats from Denmark, and I do make a killer nachos, partly from scratch and my pancakes are amazing. I always want to cook at least one meal for my host!
I've also got Hygge - the game, which is a game about the Scandinavian concept of Hygge, if you don't know what that is about, I'll show you.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Denmark, Finland, Mozambique
