I'm from Germany and I'm a student at the University of Bonn. Currently I'm on a term abroad in the US at the Washington State University in the small but very lovely and special town Pullman.
I'm a really open-minded and always happy person. There needs to happen a lot to make me upset or bring me into a bad mood. I love to meet new people (of course, that's why I'm doing this term abroad), chatting with them and enjoying the time together. I love going out but I'm also happy about a relaxed evening back at home. In my free time I play soccer and volleyball but I also like to try new sports and I really enjoy spending time with friends, maybe drinking a glass of beer together (preferably the good german beer), playing parlor games, sometimes we cook together or sometimes we even just meet and end up talking for hours. Moreover, I'm very likely to get enthusiastic about a lot of things. So, whenever you have a good idea, I'm down for it.
I enjoy watching the beautiful (untouched) parts of the nature as well as seeing the big famous cities. But for me it's always: The people make the place. Although I enjoy seeing new things, what's really making a place special are the people I spend the time with.
The term abroad in the US is my first time being out of Europe and I want to make it a very special and amazing time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very new to Couchsurfing but I have already heard a lot of stories by my friends. They told me about the exceptional and fascinating people they met and the exciting time they had.
Therefore, I now want to experience it on my own. It's a great opportunity for me to meet new people in a new town and learn more about another culture. Further more, I really value the advantages of experiencing a town with local peoples. In that way you can see places you would have never seen as a normal tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not the guy who listens to music very much, but when I do I mostly gonna listen to EDM or songs which bring me into a good mood. These can be almost every kind of music especially songs I connect something with (e.g. movie scenes or special moments, where I heard this song).
I don't watch a lot of movies. I rather prefer TV shows like "How I met your mother", "The big bang theory" or "Scrubs" where I can relax mentally.
