ABOUT ME

I have just lived one year in Reykjavík and met amazing people. Especially during summer time, when I was working at a hostel, the idea to travel tons more got stuck in my head. I'd love to meet more people around the world and have more random experiences. That's why I decided to go to New Zealand for some time...
Probably you can say that I'm open and reliable, just to mention two traits which are also important to me, but please find out yourself... Nobody is perfect :-)
Spending some time alone is as important to me as being in good company and having great times!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new on CS. I will soon set out to New Zealand, getting there via Bangkok and Sydney - so no home or couch at the moment, sorry.
Friends recently advised me to join this great network. I love the idea of sharing my room or crashing a couch of some friends of friends. So why not using this platform to help to come together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As described above - none so far.
But maybe someone can already help me out in Sydney or during my first days in NZ. I will share my home as soon as I have settled down the next time :-)

Interests

I love to be as close to nature as possible but also enjoy to explore foreign cities and cultures.
I enthuse over traveling and various kinds of outdoor activities/sports like skiing, sailing, kayaking, tramping, rafting, ... I'm not a profession but I like to spent time improving my skills and to try out new things. I don't fear to fail, but like to get to know my metes and bounds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will never forget...
... to sit in a natural hot tub in Iceland, watching the auroras and enjoying a cold beer with my siblings and a friend;
... the road trip through Scandinavia in an old Volkswagen camper
