Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am going to be honest: while i'm new to this website, i am no stranger to helping people out and having help graced upon me. I have housed droves of traveling musicians and have also been housed by many beautiful and respectful people throughout my experience traveling. So far I have surfed with some amazing people and hope to continue.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The 'official' Couchsurfing.org experience has been amazing. So far i've only surfed 5 or 6 times through the site, but I was fortunate enough to have been housed by kind, generous souls. Couch surfing, however, is not something that's new to me; being in a touring band has granted me with plenty of opportunities to have surfed and experienced the hospitality and generosity of many.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I saw this past week: an older man with a yellow beard, walking uphill in Boston's 94 degree weather as he cradled a small clear plastic bag filled with water near his chest so the goldfish inside could be shaded from the sun.
