ABOUT ME
One year after my graduation and just a few months before beginning to stuy literature and history I am going to visit Europe. Even if my homecountry Germany is in the middle of Europe I have got the feeling that I just have seen a little bit of it. So in May 2011 I am going to buy an interrail ticket and to explore this fascinating continent by train.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to live and let live. Humans (me also) tend to judge others because of superficial reasons, but I try to deliberate those reasons and try to understand others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First I want to travel around, but when I have got my own student-flat, I also would love to give others the chance to visit my hometown or my homecountry. But while living with my parents this is not possible. Of course I am prepared to meet interested travellers for a drink or show them Düsseldorf, my hometown and the venue of the European Song Contest in 2011.
Interests
I am interested in literature, architecture, almost in every kind of art and culture. It is interesting to my how people live together or how they express their individuality.
As a special form of art I really like the surrealism or everything that considers social problems in his art. But I also like doing sports (I go out jogging quite often and played basketball for a couple of years) and meeting friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Personally I prefer rock-music, especially from the 90´s. Grunge and stuff. And Quentin Tarantino movies are the best. But i listen to, watch or read a lot so that it is difficult to characterize it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about other cultures and other ways to live your life.
