I'm 20 years old girl from Finland, studying currently business in university in Helsinki. I'm talkative, positive, energetic and I love to meet people from different cultures and learn new languages. I'd love to show you my city and introduce you to the Finnish culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved to host people, exchange students, my friends or friend's friends travelling etc. I also love to meet people from different cultures and see and learn different ways to life and to think. I enjoy having international people around me. I want to speak english and french in my everyday life to keep my level up and I think couchsurfing is the best way to do that.

Interests

I love to read even thought I normally dont have enough time for it. Im super into baking and I would love to prepare you some finnish desserts. If you come in winter we can go skiing, there are some pretty great places to do that even in Helsinki. Otherwise I like to go walking and hiking to national parks, watch a movie or throw a board game night with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My fiance is the one who's in charge of music, he decides what we're listening to. For me almost everything is okay. I love books. Currently my favorite one is slaughterhouse 5. I like to watch a lot of movies and go to the cinema but I dont really have one favorite genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting to work as a receptionist in Paris when I didnt speak the language too well and I was only 18. The best (and hardest) way to learn.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn so many things and usually Im up to trying everything new so if you can teach me something that would be awesome. When it comes to me, I can teach you some finnish or even french (depending on your level), show how to cook finnish traditional dishes and share my positive way of thinking.
