ABOUT ME

I am an ethnic Chinese but was born in Germany. After spending 6 years there I moved to Hong Kong. Since 2008 I started to travel outside China and so far have covered over 90 countries and most of them are in Asia. Currently I am working in Hong Kong as a civil servant. I am still a newbie to CS and look forward to having wonderful encounters on the road.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I am currently out of my hometown so it is not feasible for me to host anybody. But definitely I would love to contribute by hosting later when I get back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Countless encounters on the road, it's truly an experience of a mixture of various cultures and it's hard to tell which I enjoyed the most. After having started couchsurfing for months the only thing I can tell is be prepared for any upcoming opportunities to know interesting people ahead.

I terribly hope Lonely Planet or Roughguides are not on this list, still I confess I read them pretty frequently to prepare for my trips in the future and to get a better sense of what to see in a foreign soil.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Carrying my utterly heavy backpack (25kg+) and walk for almost an hour in Israel.
