I like to taste everything what the world prepared for life.
My motto is to be nice to everyone, I love having every kind of fun, try out as much as possible from sailing to paragliding. I like getting to know new places and new people, so travelling and couchsurfing is my favourite. I am easygoing, open-minded, funny, a bit crazy like everyone, but I also enjoy serious conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife convinced me, and since we didn't have one bad experience with it but only very very good ones, it comes out to be a most fascinating experience that the world is so full of kind and friendly people, that only that makes me feel very happy. :) Now I see completely unknown people as fellow dreamers and friends.

Interests

My interest is about my wife, who you might already got to know on CS. My world is about travelling with her around the planet.
I also love music, listening as well as playing (drums, bass), I like all kind of rock, alternative, some jazz, raggae... and I think I try to convince everyone to learn to play an instrument.
Its hard for me to get enough of diving in the seven seas. For me it's so much fun, that I also try to convince everyone about that. Not only under water activities I love but above too, like sailing. From 16 to 30 I was regularly on the Baltic See with the Albatross sailing vessel.

Music:
Ween, They might be Giants, Queens of the stone age, Galactic (Stanton Moore), Bill Frisell, Oliver Onions, Bob Marley, Slashs snakepit, Iron Maiden, Alter bridge, John Williams, movie soundtracks, my own band..
Books:
I don't read as much as I should, but I was completely impressed by the story about "the hundred year old man, who climbed out the window and disappeared"!
Movies:
I like a lot. Those by Steven Spielberg as well as those by David Lynch, David Fincher, Peter Jackson and some French ones. I love the old Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies, Louis de Funes.
I am a fan of Monty Python and of the movies by Terry Guilliam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in Mexican Cenotes or in Indonesia Komodo National Park, backpacking with my wife, experience that couchsurfing is working, playing live on stage with different bands, I also made a movie by myself usw.

I could give a short intro how to play the drums, or discuss about movies and directors, film making, or how to cook the best home-made hamburger ever :).
