I’m a former professional musician, working in the cultural and higher education sectors. I spent my childhood in the US and Canada, most of my life in Paris except for 4 years in Lebanon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Call it mid life crisis :)
I actually discovered couchsurfing while still living in Paris, where I became used to hosting. I went to surfing myself more recently and found it awesome. It’s a great way of experiencing a place, knowing people, sharing experiences. Definitely the best way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely classical music, some contemporary jazz as well, a few good oldies. As for books, you'll see them by yourself, they're pretty much all over the place.
And... perhaps I shouldn't tell, but I can get addicted to TV series.

I can't think of having done anything really amazing, being a rather average kind of guy, I'm afraid... sorry about that, folks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give an abridged course on French (or Lebanese) wines and teach some French recipes if you like to cook (provided you don't mind garlic): you'll never miss your mayonnaise, omelette or ratatouille again. Promise.
Learn? I’d like to learn everything about everything. Quite hopeless, indeed… but no doubt you’ll contribute.
