Overview
About Me
I graduated in 2023 and served one year in the German military.
Now I try to travel around as much as I can and I’m excited to meet new people along the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s a great opportunity to travel on a budget and you get to connect with new people at the same time. And there is no better way to actually experience a place and its culture than through a local!

Music, Movies, and Books
That’s a complicated question, but here’s what I would say, including some examples:
Music: Depending on the vibe there are so many great genres and artists, but a small selection of some of my favorites would be Depeche Mode, Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Falco, Kraftklub and Kim Wilde (but there are so many more)
Movies: I think I would say I’m into the classics, but I don’t know how accurate that statement would be, but three great movies for example are Django Unchained, The Shawshank Redemption and Interstellar.
Books: To be honest I love reading, but I do it less often than I’d like, but I’m working on that! But for the genres I do like fiction thriller or crime like for example Jack Reacher (Lee Child), Murder Mindfully (Karsten Dusse) or Snapshot (Craig Robertson) and also the classics again like for example The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived abroad in Canada for a few months and went to highschool there. (Also so much more stuff)
Teach, Learn, Share
The 80% principle:
For 80% of things in life, it is completely sufficient to strive for 80% perfection, as the time and effort saved allows you to appreciate the result much more and also gives you the opportunity to devote yourself to other things and perfect them to 80%. And also the small imperfections are what actually makes things perfect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I mean, of course, it all depends on the situation I'm staying in, but for me, the point of couchsurfing is not just to have a place to sleep, but to get to know your host and participate in their life, and that can include talking, cooking, getting coffee, strolling around, grabbing a beer, sharing my experiences and so much more.
