About Me

CURRENT MISSION

making sure my memories can carry me into old age

ABOUT ME

I've been spending the last few months wondering the globe, which has unexpectedly brought me back to Europe. The thing that I do is 'disaster response', which can take me pretty much anywhere. This is a new thing for me, and with it I've been to Haiti, Peru and now Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm travelling, and I'm not really sure which direction I'm going. To encourage the CS community and to give back as much as I'm able to, I can let you know as much as I can about my experiences, the world as I see it, and the things I've done, and anything I have to teach. I can also tell you a lot about England, but there's not a lot to know... I hope to be able to host surfers in the future, and wherever I am at that time I know I'll have plenty to show you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This isn't actually CouchSurfing.com stuff, but I have experience surfing couches in general... When I first moved to Brighton two years ago, my friend kindly gave me his couch for six weeks while I was looking for work and a place to live. That was loads of fun, we were like an old married couple.

Then, as I was saving money to travel I sub-let my room to another friend and stayed on my own couch for three months... I really loved having the extra person in the house to hang out with. We spent the winter evenings sewing, cooking, drinking tea and cheap wine. Wonderous.

Interests

Travel, reading, music, learning new things, relearning old things, ridiculous adventures, hanging out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Haiti was the best thing I've done in a very very long time.
