However, as rewarding as playing with babies/kids it is, it's hard to beat the good old-time wandering in a distant land with no worries about tomorrow never knowing what's behind the corner.

Rookie on using Couchsurfing social forum in web, although I used to do the same stuff (sleeping on friends couches around the globe and vice versa) almost 10 years before I entered this social forum

Music: Everything but especially progressive rock/reggae/dub/electronic. Perennial favourites include e.g. Pink Floyd, The Doors, Love, Jimi Hendrix, Captain Beefheart, Bob Marley, Lee "Scrath" Perry, Ozric Tentales, Kingston Wall (highly recommended Finnish band!), Devendra Banhart, Manu Chao, certain Dub plates etc etc...
Books: Especially the novels of Herman Hesse
