Hi everyone!
My name is Henriette, I'm from Germany but currently living in Ireland working as an Au Pair.
It's my first time living abroad and I never took the chance of couchsurfing before. I'd love to give it a try and I'm convinced it's a great experience for both sides (as a host and a guest).
I know that little 20-year-old me without having any references might sound not suitable but let me tell you that I'm a very responsible and reliable person :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am in Ireland just for a short period of time I'd love to travel as much as possible (and of course as cheap as possible - Au Pairs don't earn that much money ;))
And what is betterfor getting to know the Irish lifestyle than spending time with locals?
As soon as I'll be back in Germany and will have my own flat again I'll also make sure to be ably to host people and give back this great experience!

Interests

I love being outdoor. One of my biggest interests is hiking. There's nothing better than reaching the top of a mountain and having a stunning view.
I am a huge fan of...
...sitting in a Pub, listening to Irish music and drinking a pint (I am going to miss Ireland!)
...spending time with my friends, cycling, deep conversations, laughing, electronic music, yoga (although I'm not flexible at all), festivals, buddhism, sunsets, vegan food

I'm very into books about buddhism
I definitely don't watch movies often enough (Can't even think of a favourite one) but I'm addicted to Game of Thrones!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've walked the Camino Portuguese from Porto to Santiago de Compostela and to Cape Fisterra (350 km) last year, which was one of the best things I've done so far
