Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel, I meet people on cs-events, I meet people for a coffee, I stay with people and their families, and I host myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve couchsurfed and met couchsurfers in Norway, Portugal, Spain, India, Thailand, China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Oman, Lebanon, Georgia, Armenia, Ireland, Iran, Italy, Tajikistan, Rwanda, Uganda and Iraq. It´s been absolutely amazing so far. Couchsurfing is by far the best way to travel and expand your mind!

Interests

Sketching, painting, write poems, thinking philosophical thoughts, being by myself, being with friends, having meaningful conversations, having fun, enjoying life, watch movies, read books, ride my bike, drive my motorcycle, play sports, go for walks, listen to music, meeting new people, experiencing new things, travel travel travel...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies and books that give me a sense of hope, energy and the inspiration to try new things. A good documentary is my favourite thing to watch - I love to learn! I listen to music every day because it inspires me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my job and starting traveling alone without a plan. Traveling alone (but meeting many people) for 14 months. Driving south to north Vietnam on a motorbike. Driving around in Thailand with a hammock. Buying a bicycle in Thailand and cycling without a map. Seeing the northern lights in Greenland. Exploring my own country, Norway, with a car. Having art exhibitions in Spain, India and Japan. Being on live tv in Japan to promote my exhibition. Driving in the southern part of Myanmar on a motorbike and staying in local people's houses. Driving a sportscar in Lebanon. Going to a village wedding in India. Staying with wonderful families in Bangladesh and learning about their culture. Celebrating Eid in a village in Oman. Crossing the desert in Oman. Sleeping in a tent in the desert. Couchsurfing for 2,5 weeks in Iran. Hitchhiking all over Iraqi Kurdistan. Surviving a week in Afghanistan. Celebrating my 30th birthday in Italy with a CS-event! Meeting so many amazing people on my travels...
