ABOUT ME - sobre mim em baixo

Though it's hard to write about yourself I would say I'm an openminded globetrotter, looking out for new challenges, trying to learn as much as I can from people all around the world. I love learning and practising different languages to better get to know people.
I'm an arts practitioner, loving music, dance and theatre. I've been to different countries to work and share experiences while using arts for social change, such as political and community theatre (e.g. Theatre of the Opressed).
I'm a person who always tries to get into new experiences and that's why I love traveling and meeting up with the couchsurfing community / Hospitality Club. I would have never met such nice and interesting people!

Não é fácil escrever sobre sim mesmo mas vou tentar! Diria que sou uma pessoa e viajante com mente aberta, procurando desafíos novos, aprendendo sobre e com o outro do mundo inteiro. Adoro estudar idiomas para melhor conhecer pessoas e a cultura delas.
Sou professora e arte-educadora, amo música, artes, teatro e dança.
Fui para varios países para trabalhar com artes para o desenvolvimento e mudanças sociais. Usei métodos como o teatro político e o teatro dos oprimidos.
Sempre adorei novas experiências e encontrar pessoas de outras culturas, por isso viajei muito e encontrei varias pessoas dessa comunidade do couchsurfing.
Conheci pessoas maravilhosas!

Have met wonderful people during a sabbatical in 2009 and since 2012 I live in Brasil - for work this time, hoping to make new friends...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Yes! Definitely amazing experiences!
After having been traveling around the world again and again since 1997 I realized that most of what I remember are the HUMAN encounters and not monuments, cities and historical or cultural sights. I remember all of the wonderful people I've met throughout these moments of traveling. Doesn't matter where you are but with WHOM you spend your time!

Intereses

I love music, theatre, yoga, dance, movies and generally all sorts of arts! And I love to learn songs from all around the world - please do teach me your favorite one!

Learning about cultures, their way of living, food, arts, humour, practising languages in the most wonderful and different places of the world.

Cooking - though less German, trying out international food and all sorts of combination - friends adore my creative way of cooking, just mixing good spices...

I'm a water person, yet prefering to get underwater to the silence while diving and watching out for the treasures of nature!
We recently moved to the beach! 😁

And hopefully, I'm successful in trying to change the world, even if it's just a tiny little bit ;-)
Therefore not only my work but also the way of living is very important to me, buying mostly organic food, being a vegetarian, riding the bike whenever possible, trying to save resources...
