About Me

Norwegian student studying plants in Malaysia.
Having lived here for one year already, I still enjoy getting to see as much of Asia as I can while I am here as well as getting to know the Malaysian way of life better every day.

Each day is another step on the journey, a gift which we choose to accept or ignore.

I am also a pescetarian, meaning I don't eat red meat or poultry but still enjoy seafood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to Couchsurfing but it seems like a great way to meet new people on travels and a unique opportunity to learn what they have to share and to get to see places in a new country that are not necessarily given in the guidebooks.

Interests

Travelling obviously, I really enjoy learning about new cultures and seeing places I never imagined going to before. I am also a big fan of being in nature especially mountain trekking and cross-country skiing (but not so many chances for that lately!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy music and listen to all sorts of genres
Jurassic Park, Great Gatsby, Blood Diamond and Invictus are all great movies!;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled for 3 consecutive days from Malaysia to Greenland over the summer to work. Although it was a huge shock at first to go from tropical paradise to icebergs and midnight sun, it was unforgettable experience that taught me lot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I always like to learn new languages as such skills will always come in handy one day. I like hearing about other peoples' opinions and knowledge as they probably know a lot that i don't.
I can share what I learned from living in 6 different countries and some Norwegian language.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong, Jordan, Macao, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Zambia
