Soy Alfredo, aunque casi todos me dicen Alf cómo el personaje. Soy mexicano, y estoy empezando un viaje por el mundo.

Actualmente voy cómo nómada digital, me dedico a la traducción de textos educativos y científicos, además soy escritor, escribo poesía y ensayo. También soy creador de textos educativos, profesor de matemáticas y ajedrez. Además en el último año he jugado poker de manera profesional.

Por mi trabajo, algunas veces necesito un lugar tranquilo para trabajar algunas horas al día con internet.
Otras veces tengo todo el día libre. La vida es muy cambiante.

Me encantan los juegos de mesa, platicar, conocer a las personas, caminar y recorrer las ciudades, el cine, los museos, soy muy nerd, y la ciencia. Además me encanta cocinar.

Estoy buscando conocer nuevas personas locales con quién hospedarme, conocer los mejores lugares de la zona, y compartir buenos momentos. Ah, y si sabes dónde puedo presentar mi obra, me ayudaría mucho.

Hi! Im Alfredo, a mexican poet, translator and a math educator.

I am starting a journey around the world.

Currently I am a digital nomad, I am dedicated to the translation of educational and scientific texts, I am also a writer, poetry and essays. I am also a creator of educational texts, mathematics and chess teacher. In addition, in the last year I have played poker professionally.

Because of my work, sometimes I need a quiet place to work a few hours a day with internet.
Other times I have the whole day free. Life is very changeable.

I love board games, talking, meeting people, walking and touring cities, movies, museums, I'm very nerdy, and science. I also love to cook.

I'm looking to meet new local people to stay with, get to know the best places in the area, and share good times. Oh, and if you know where I can submit my work, it would help me a lot.

Mexico is a incredible multi-cultural country that has a surrealistic, tropical, unbelievable sites. This country have a lot of different endemic cultures, divergent weathers and ecosystems; it's crammed of tastes, ideas, textures, colors, ethnic groups; Mexico have special, kindly and friendly persons; its full of feelings, traditions and customs.

I´m looking for hosts around the world. I decide to travel with my bicycle to know the cultures in this big home named earth, to share my poetry, to share mexican and latin america poetry, and to ponder in the different points of views of poetry and art of this big planet.

I want to exchange my own experience, ideas, and feelings of my trips and of the different cultures that I have the opportunity to met.

Also I’m eager to meet all kind of people. I really appreciate and enjoy the distinctiveness of ideas, traditions and feelings. But I have the special interest to meet poets, artists and scientists of Mexico and all the world.

Another interesting thing in this travel is the idea to realize them in bicycle, the experience that you have traveling in bicycle its very different that another kinds of traveling.

I like all of kinds of music, movies and books, but i´m interested in latin american poetry.

I prefer progressive rock, classic, jazz, and tradicional music.

I love cinema, I´m cinephile, and I want to know more about the cinema and art for every place I stay.

I really like literature, I´m very interested to know the new ideas that emerge into the art around the world, and share my own ideas.

I crossed Cuba with my bike, in a great trip. I studied maths a lot of years.
But I think the most Amazing thing I´ve done was wrote a lot of poems. Or maybe the idea to live every day like I want...

I was working in es.khanacademy.org, so I can teach maths, physics, and another sciences. I really like to teach. Maybe I could teach chess or another board game.

I like to share my experience in latin american culture, in special Mexican culture.

I can learn everything, I really enjoy to learn.

But, the most important thing I can share with my hosts is the experience of traveling in Mexico and around the world, to share my adventures, my stories, my poetry and I want to share the emotion of the experience so if I could realize this project, maybe others cheer up and do it!

I can help with any task, I really like cooking (especially mexican food). I can teach maths, literature, science, mexican culture. I can teach chess, and I really like to play chess, in fact I play it in Mexico in official FIDE tournaments.
