About Me

I am a senior in Economics at Insper, a local college in Sao Paulo, who is graduating in December of 2015. I like being in touch with the nature, going on camping and hiking trips in te countryside, as well as traveling to new places and meeting new people. I consider myself very easy going and don't have any trouble getting along with people and making they feel as they have a great company!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on going on a world trip for the first six months of 2016, so I think there could be nothing better than joining Couchsurfing and meeting new people from all over the place. I am planning on having guests over so that I can be of any help.

Interests

As I am curious, I like knowing new things, such as people, places, cultures, languages. I like to travel around and discover feelings and sensations I have never felt before: that's the only way I consider proper if someone wants to form opinions about anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much everything. I believe every kind of music has its moments. If you're at the beach with some friends, having some Caipirinhas, a bit of Samba and Pagode are really welcome. If traveling by myself, why not listen to a song that gets you thinking about good things in life in order to keep you positive? And the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In July 2015, I spent almost 3 weeks in Africa (Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to be more specific) doing some volunteering. I met the most amazing people of my life and cannot explain how good it feels to know you're helping the needed....and they're grateful for it!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe I have some ease when it comes to languages. And since we're in a international culture-sharing site, this could be of great interest! Plus I like seeing progress in people when I'm teaching something, which makes it a good combo, doesn't it?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I wouldn't say I'm the best cook in town, but I can come along with some nice Brazilian recipes! I was born and raise in a big city (Sao Paulo), which makes me open minded to a lot of things. And I gotta say that has made me "free" of judging differences. And to be honest, accepting differences just allows you to enjoy little things you would be blind to, so that's about how I like living life!
