About Me

I am definitely curious and passionate about life!
I work in a small family business and teach English in a local language school (which is the best). Recently my girlfriend and me have opened a little slow food restaurant to work on the weekend, we are having lots of fun with it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling by CS because I love living the local culture as it really is. Knowing little specific curious details about the places that I would only know from the locals and are far away from the guide books. As well as meeting friends and collecting moments on the way!

Interests

I study Gastonomy and love cooking for friends and family, tasting a good wine and having a nice time at the table. I am specially interested about typical food, its history, and food habits from another places.
I have been playing tennis since I was 12 and I still enjoy it very much.
"A day without sport is not a day" is not my moto but I practice sports when I can. It could be running, tennis, calisthenics, footvoley, trekking, swimming or whatever that seems to be fun!
One of my recent new hobbies is gardening, it is surprising how much you can learn doing that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am pretty much eclectic about music, my favorite ones are surf music, samba, rock and old foreign songs (specially French, Italian and Spanish).
"Into the Wild" and "The Godfather" are defenitely my favorite movies.
My booklist is mostly made on classic works, and I cross out at least one a month!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Inca's trekking in Peru to Machu Piacchu, five days walking through the montains with bare signal of civilization;
-Snowboarding in Andes;
-Crossing Bolivia by car (including the Uyuni salt desert);
-Abseiling down a 90m waterfall with my girlfriend after a rainy night;
-Running a half marathon (someday I will have the whole pie);
-Going to a heavenly island (ilha do campeche) by motorboat with friends;
-I have seen how the Atacama's Desert night could be overwhelming;
