About Me

I'm a software developer and an entrepreneur from Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who lived in São Paulo from 2013 to 2017 and decided to move to Germany. I own a web development startup which builds and hosts websites and mobile apps, but also I work as a full-time employee to SAP, the biggest corporate software developer in the world.

I grew in Itacoatiara beach and I played tennis for 14 years. I love sports and I go running every other day. Have run two half-marathon but I think that's too much. Usually 10km on a Saturday morning cheers me up and I'm good.

I have a passion for music, specially Jazz, House, Classical and Ambient, and for design, specially product design, graphic design and photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm Couchsurfing because I want to meet locals who would tell me and show me the way they live. I don't want to be a tourist, instead I want to visit new places and learn from them. Their culture, their routine, their secret spots... That's what makes travelling fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I don't have one favorite Music, Movie or Book and they're things I consume heavily on a regular basis. Usually I listen to more than 50 new songs everyday (I have an average of listening to 100 songs per day). I watch movies two or three times a week and try to read between 6 to 10 books per year. Mostly are business oriented like Think and Grow Rich, TED Talks, Founders At Work, or psychology books like Emotional Intelligence and Love 2.0.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving was pretty amazing but was short and I've only done that once. Kitesurfing is awsome!! Wakeboarding, sailing, quadricycle... Love sports, indeed!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would have done much more in my life if I just started to meditate earlier. I'm "addicted" to Mindfulness practice now and I see benefits in every area of my life: romantic and friendly relationships, professional development, health (specially anxiety and memory). There are good free apps for smartphones that can help you with getting started and reach your momentum. It's not easy but stick on that and you'll see the benefits for yourself in less than 30 days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share food. I love to share food! I'm not good at cooking but sharing a meal is intimate! :) I can share technology expertise too. I think I'm quite good with computers, phone and web stuff.
