Loving to understand people, I keep getting thrilled with making new acquaintances and sharing ideas and stories with other people.

Meeting interesting people, really. Old and longer explanation ensues:

Loving to travel + favouring the locals' insight of a place = Couchsurfing, right? Being sure that it does, I am looking for low budget solutions for getting to know both the touristy and the lesser known places of a city or village while meeting interesting people. Eventually I'm able to host some people, trying to give something back in this great way of travelling.

Lots to say around here.
-Music: the 60s/70s, then the 90s, then the 10s, so right now pretty much any standard jukebox will please me. More than the bands I know already, my best choice is to get to know new ones

-Movies: just because it's an enormous list with all kinds of things, maybe it's a good conversation starter :P

-Books: Kafka and Orwell to keep the world in check, Luís Sepúlveda and Eça de Queiroz to make it shine and look worthwhile.

-Other reads: small pieces on psychology, sociology and politics in magazines like The Atlantic, AEON, Quartz make my day. Every day. Like the hard procrastination-level of making my day.

Good humour and wannabe witty conversations, plus helping with as much as I can. Some people commend my risotto, but I can cook some other stuff too, really!
Interest in pretty much everything, mainly if unrelated to Medicine (I can share some tiny bit of medical knowledge; much tinier than what I'd like, though)
