I'm a twenty five year old Canadian guy from coastal BC. I've dabbled in a lot of different hobbies over the years, but mostly I skateboard. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring, and I love to bicycle. I've been lucky enough to be able to take my time getting through university, and have done quite a bit of wandering during the in between times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lately it seems that I've been finding myself in unexpected locations more regularly than I ever would have thought. It's been a good and interesting thing, but it also means I'm often trying to figure out a place to spend the night. I've been shown so much hospitality over the years from complete strangers that earlier this year I thought I would like to join Couchsurfing, just to try and pay it forward. Now, once again and sooner than expected I find myself on the road. I love to meet new people and find out about their lives and interests, and Couchsurfing offers some great opportunities to do just that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Almost all kinds of music can be enjoyable in the right time and place. The Life Aquatic is a good movie. I like a lot of different types of books but historical fiction is usually pretty entertaining. I just read Daughter of Fortune and liked that.
