Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only just started my Couch Surfing profile after a friend reminded me of it (rookie Hen).

As it happens I've actually hosted a Couchsurfer before (5 years ago), after meeting her a party back at University. We hosted her at our uni flat in Christchurch for a week after her original CS host fell through. We remain good friends today :)
Following this positive Couch Surfing experience, I somehow forgot about CS, but now 5 years later I hope to start surfing and hosting again.

I'm hoping to get to meet some great Japanese locals through being hosted while I'm travelling Japan during the Rugby World Cup.

I'm also trying to convince my flatmate/friend/landlord that hosting couch surfers here in Feilding, NZ at his farm would be the buzz. I'm getting there slowly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to sing at one of my best friend's wedding as she walked down the aisle! High pressure, nerve-wracking stuff eeek! (An image in my photos actually)
