Climbing to the top of an empty house in Corfu Island, to see the spectacular view it promised, only to realize there was an elderly woman inside. She came out and sat with me, she must have been 80, and did not speak a word of English, but could understand the natural beauty with which were both faced.

Being chased out of the barras markets in Glasgow by a derelict stall holder who was selling off illegal DVDs - admittedly, I had been trying to photograph him.
