ABOUT ME

As a person I am slightly reserved so I find it a little difficult to make the first contact. But after contact has been established, I am very social (well, as social as a Finn can be). I want and try to help in any way I can and despite my little shyness/awkwardness, I am very eager to meet new people and find new experiences. :)
I'll happily listen to other people's travel stories for hours and hear about cultures I don't know so much about.
For entertainment I'll do anything from clubbing to trekking, from watching movies to wandering aimlessly around the city. Not too picky, I dare say. And actually, I prefer to do a little bit of everything rather than just a lot of something.

Just like so many others, I'm interested in seeing all of the world. And when I can't do that, I want to help those who share the same dream.

I'm a total rookie, thus I haven't had many experiences, yet... But I've heard many good and inspiring stories/experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listing everything would take way too long so just a few examples..

Movies: mostly thrillers and action like Memento, Inception, Seven, Inglorious Basterds, the new Batman trilogy..but also dramas like the Soloist, Pursuits of Happiness, Gran Torino, There Will Be Blood, etc

Music: Muse, RHCP, Poets of the Fall, The Killers..just to name a few..so mostly rock/pop but practically I find something I like within every genre..

Books: Sherlock Holmes stories, Agatha Christie's books, Oscar Wilde, George Orwell..I study also English Literature and thus I read pretty much anything written in English..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Lapland. And canoeing. That's some cool stuff. (I know, that's already two things but whatever)
I do also love downhill skiing.
And since I cannot pick one thing, I'll have to add a 2-month Interrail trip around Europe in the summer of 2015.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to teach anything I know, ranging from the languages I've learned to the basic cooking from my country. Of course I can't really say what I can teach until someone asks me to teach something.
And I'm equally eager to learn new things, mostly about other cultures as well as languages. And the more you can tell about your travels the better.
