About Me
Somwhere in this profile I ask you to write a particular word so I know you've read the profile.
ABOUT ME
I feel good being good. If you're lucky and I have the time and inclination to, I could show you a good time.
I know my place well, I'm always up for little adventures.
I will however ask that you read all of this profile and write a personal request if you want me to host you.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others how you'd want to be treated yourself. Make the most of this little life we have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I did mega-couchsurfing on an epic journey on my own one winter cycling from my hometown, Bristol to Chefchaoen, Morocco. I couldn't have done it without the kindness and humanity of all 22 couchsurfers- not one exception!
To give something back I reciprocated with hosting a fair few lovely people in return.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's one of the best methods of realising the goodness in humans.
Interests
I take an interest in most forms of art, making, engineering and music created from the heart, photography, cinema, cooking- I love food and cooking. I make a lot, do some big building projects, electronics, pottery are the main recent ones. I do the cultural pursuits of the city, but I really like outdoor pursuits of the country. Wildlife and nature, but also science and human achievement. Of course I love travel too, and showing a curiosity of this wonderful world we have.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many genres of music, so long as it isn't pop. Not massive on noodley jazz. Mainly folk, reggae, electronica, old soul, bluegrass, African and all music with soul.
Movies, art-house, world cinema etc. I can't say a particular director or genre of film because it depends on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was no doubt the most incredible and humbling experience of my life going and building and repairing shelters in the Calais jungle twice. The best and worst experiences of humanity combined, I felt so compelled to do whatever little bit I could do to help such a desperate and terrible situation. I know that this community knows about how important it is to build bridges, not walls in this world.
