ABOUT ME

I've not travelled a lot on my own and i am looking to remedy that. i want to see more of the world from a better perspective: i have been on holidays with my family and school trips; i never feel like i'm getting to know the city or country i am visiting. i'm independent (some would say very) and i like temporarily misplacing the world (getting lost). also i write in lower case cause it saves time (i'm quite into the bauhaus movement). I work in IT at a stockbrokers which is great although it has kinda taken over my life. I grew up in the countryside but i'm a city boy at heart; having said that i spend more and more time out of town these days so who knows where i will end up ... feel like i'm rambling now so gonna stop.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have spent a lot of time sleeping on people's sofas. my friends went to uni all over the country and i spent quite a bit of time visiting them. however i've never done proper couch-surfing.

in my free time i like to listen to music, read books and watch tv. i also love going for long walks and exploring. despite having lived in london most of my adult life i am only now really to starting to explore my own city. i am very excited to explore others.

loads. i love music and my tastes change on an almost weekly basis, currently i'm listening to the offspring but i'm about to buy xx after a friend played it for me. same with movies, i watch a lot of action films but recently been hitting some horror films and (non-action) dramas. i don't read as much as i would like, sci-fi and fantasy have been my thing historically but i might start reading non-fiction (climate change, economics, history)
