ABOUT ME

I was born in 1951 in Germany, grew up in the USA and have been living in Germany again for nearly 40 years. I enjoy backpacking and travelling. I spent time with the German doctors in Bangladesh a few years ago and found this to be a very rewarding experience. I plan to do this again in the future, when I am no longer working.

兴趣

I like going to movies and theater, political cabaret, hiking in the mountains, going on bike tours, entertaining friends at home, spending the day with my daughters and grandchildern.
Alfred and I are backpackers and we have travelled all over the world in the last 30 years. There is still so much to see.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbing to the top of Roraima while in Venezuela and trekking to the Everest Base Camp. Being in the main cathedral of Buenes Aires and suddenly hearing the most beautiful voice sing "Ave Maria". In the slums of Bangladesh - children taking my hand and all wanting to show me their home. Being offered tea in every home.
