About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To move to South East Asia in 2015

ABOUT ME

I am impulsive quality which sometimes becomes expensive, but for the most part, it is great fun. I strive to be kind, to understand and to do good where I can. I am also a writer, a glutton and an eternal student. Trevor, my boyfriend and travel partner this summer, is a skateboarder, a teacher and the friendliest dude you'll ever meet. We like to eat, drink, to do new things, to buy art, to see things, and to talk to people.

We can't wait to meet so many people this summer.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind and try harder.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a place of my own at the moment to host but I would love to show you the beauty of St.Pete. Our nightlife in the bay-side downtown area is very alive with its continuous blocks of bars and breweries. The beach is a short ride away from downtown by bus, or by personal transportation by... me! Our sand here is white, the water is clear and the bars and breweries are always crowded.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted one girl from Germany who was studying in Maryland and decided to travel America before going back home, however she never left me a reference. It was so long ago I can't even find our correspondence. I'm starting to think I made her up... except I can't forget the way she never ever smiled and seemed to hate traveling. Weird indeed.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

No Country for Old Men. Lost in Translation.

Jack White. Blues. Die Antwoord.

Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut. I'm a literature student, all I do is read, let's talk about books in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Almost killed my friends and I while driving a rented, manual transmission SUV on the mountains of Corfu, Greece. We got very, very close to going over the edge as I kept stalling out, and sliding backwards to the precipice. Here in Florida I drive a manual car...but we do not have ANY elevation in Fl, at all. Anyway, after that, I can now drive a stick shift car anywhere!

Teach, Learn, Share

This is what I live for. I will share what I know: Spanish phrases, salsa dancing, English grammar, travel tips, anything else I've studied, good bands I've come across, books I've read, etc. I want to hear anything you can share with me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Serbia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States, Venezuela
