About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To go everywhere, see everything, and experience every little thing in between.
ABOUT ME
Hi there, I'm Herb. I love meeting and getting to know new people from all walks of life. I am very open minded as I believe it is the best way to learn and grow in life! I love music and traveling more than anything. I started out traveling around the USA for music, following my favorite bands through festivals and concerts. Then I traveled Europe for awhile and loved it. I currently live in Taiwan where I teach English and study Chinese. In between classes I go to as many festivals and concerts as possible and also play in a couple bands. I do a lot of reading and writing. I enjoy many kinds of music, mostly jam band stuff, jazz, funk, bluegrass, indie, reggae, etc. I love politics, I'm pretty far to the left. I love hiking, biking, and camping as well.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not a religious man but I have always thought that the Golden Rule is all that is really needed, "One should treat others as one would like others to be treated oneself."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have lived outdoors separated from civilization for over two months hiking and camping through the desert and mountains of south-central Utah. It was amazing, from that experience I gained a greater understanding and relationship with nature. You really can find out a lot about yourself when you are far away from society.
