About Me

CURRENT MISSION

changes day to day

ABOUT ME

When I graduated college my dad gave me a 76 Cutlass Supreme. Some friends called it a beaner car. Others called it a boat. I just called it a beater. The cops must have agreed, because they were always pulling me over. Well, OK, I was always speeding and running stop signs and such, but they were pulling me over even when I wasn’t. So, I put a “Don’t Drink and Drive” sticker on it thinking it would give me some brownie points. It didn’t. They still kept pulling me over. So, I ripped off the word “Don’t”.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open to change - life would be pretty boring without it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just finished a book called Your Mouth is Lovely - a sad, beautiful story...the best I've read since No Country for Old Men (which by the way was a lot, lot better than the movie).

Vonnegut, Palahniuk, Kerouac, Bukowski, Ed Abbey, Herman Hesse, Norman Mailer, and Raymond Carver have been among favorites. Barbara Kingsolver's Poisonwood Bible is a masterpiece.
