About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Prep for my next big trip to South America.

ABOUT ME

I originally joined Couchsurfer because I thought it would be a fun, cheaper way to travel to South America from the U.S. on my motorcycle. Now I'm in it to give back the love and meet more of the outrageous and intriguing personalities drawn to CS. I've made lifetime friends through CS! I love to share adventure tales, intellectualize, goof off, and just plain share in life. I'm a student of all things.

Self-empowerment. All about it. I appreciate the taboo, learning, and laughing at weird things. I'm kind to all people. The pattern for me seems to be a binge and purge lifestyle but my reckless days seem to be behind me. People fascinate me. I guess that's why I studied psychology and worked in that field.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home is open to everyone. We'll trade dazzling tales of adventure, romance, mischief, and woe. I've made some amazing friends through this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing hasn't let me down yet. Surfing and hosting have both been great experiences. I tell everyone about it. They can't believe I'd let a stranger into my home, and that always makes me laugh. Couchsurfing is a model for a new world, regardless of some quacks' ulterior motives. Thankfully those are few and far between. Couchsurfing is a network effective at cultivating self-discovery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am alive! Wrestled and defeated a grizzly bear. Met God. Hung out inside a tornado. I saw my stepdad accidentally belly flop from 30 feet. I drowned laughing and was born again. I rode a motorcycle across the U.S. and then to Ushuaia, Argentina. Came to Earth. Alaskan Commercial Fishing. You decide what's true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen and help others. Got a problem? Share it? Without going all psychoanalytical on you, my skills as a therapist may help you achieve some new understanding. I love to go deep. Also, I'm happy to share info about my stomping grounds of Boulder, Co, or go on a hike, chow down on some amazing pizza or burgers, and swap tales of romance, tragedy, and adventure! I'm versed in psychology, martial arts, fishing. Wanna chase some trout on one of the nearby reservoirs or streams? Let me know!
