ABOUT ME

Many people get the wrong impression when they first meet me. Truth is, I'm pretty shy in the beginning, but the better I get along with someone, the faster I open myself to that person.
A friend once said: "Tina, look, I've now watched you a couple of times when you just sat there with your eyes wandering around. You know what my assumption is? While all the others go nuts and freak out, you sort of occupy everything. You're watching. Everything. Everyone." And that's it. I'm a person who first watches and kinda scans her environment and THEN acts. I want to know who or what I'm dealing with.
Still, I'm very open-minded and I always want to gain new experiences. Since I'm Vietnamese, but grew up in Germany, I like seeing differences between cultures and getting to know their manners, morals and so on.

I'm very into music and I love singing. That's why I love to meet musicians or people who share my passion.

Ouh, and people keep asking me if I'm okay because they're seeing a sad or worried or pissed look on my face. Most of the time I am okay, thank you - it's just my face. :)

Mostly, I am the guest. But I just moved to a new place and I might be able to finally host somebody. :)

I couchsurfed a couple of times now and I truly love it!
Can't wait for the coming couchsurfing experience.

Interesses

I enjoy reading books, watching movies - just all that stuff most people like more or less. But I guess my biggest passion is music. I love singing, listening to music and I started playing the piano. Besides this I really like taking pictures, especially while travelling - also one of my interest. I love to meet new people and learn from them, listen to their stories and encounter as many different personalities as possible.

I used to have a list here. But by now there are just too many movies I would have to name.

Music.
I love music and I enjoy listening to all kinds of music. I like catchy tunes and songs with a cute melody, that I can sing along with. Always appreciating recommendations since I tend to listen to the same stuff for years.

Books.
My favourite book so far is Pride and Prejudice, I think. Very cheesy and cliche, I know.
If you have any recommendations - tell me. :) Right now I'm reading "The picture of Dorian Gray".
