ABOUT ME

I'm an active and positive-thinking person with a big curiosity. Like many people here I like to travel and to meet people. Open minded to new culture, learning from both good and bad experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Think a documentary movie of a person's life. in 2-3 hours of running time, the movie must show 70-80 years of a man's life. You watch the essence of his life, which is not daily eating, sleeping and time-killing.
I want to fill my life with many memorable moments, not with daily routine. Looking back last year, last month, or even yesterday and ask yourself if it was memorable enough to shine your life. I believe a person's life full of memorable moments must be much longer than many ordinary people, who are becoming the background of my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As an Esperantisto(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto), I'm a member of Pasporta Servo(https://pasportaservo.org) I got to know CS is English version(mainly) of Pasporta Servo and as I agree to its purpose, I decided to join.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After 1 month I joined here, I have hosted 3 couch surfers in Singapore and based on the hosting experience I was warmly hosted by an Australian friend in Mar 2012. Later I was hosted in France and also in Russia. If including Esperanto network, I hosted/was hosted in Korea, Uruguay, Brazil, Spain, Ireland, Denmark and Russia, plus I met many people who guided me in Colombia, Cuba and Mexico. Now I am back to my home country, South Korea, to restart the hosting. Other excellent friends of mine must be somewhere in this small world and I have to find them - I mean, YOU - all!

Music, Movies, and Books

MPB(Musica Popular Brasileira) is my favorite field, especially Samba, Bossa Nova, and their variations.
I also like classics - orchestra, chorus, opera, etc.
I don't read book much but searching internet gives me lots of things to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the US across the pacific ocean, making European friends there and coming back crossing Atlantic ocean. I stayed in my friends' house in Switzerland, Portugal and Germany. It was more than 10 years ago but I was already surfing coaches since then!
