About Me

It's been a good time since I actually updated this profile and I see now that a lot, has changed since last time I actively used this page. But time to update :D

ABOUT ME (OLD)
Where to begin?! I'€™ll try to keep it brief.

I'€™m a Brazilian guy that currently lives in the Northern parts of Sweden. I'€™ve lived here for most of my life and will probably live here for the rest of my days unless I move to Japan :D

I was adopted by the age of four together with my younger biological sister. We have been raised by a Swedish couple that I consider my parents. Since family is what you feel, and what you are, not what you should have been.

I live alone in my BIG apartment for the moment and spend most of my time playing TV-games, role-playing games (with pen, paper and dices) and just watching movies or having a fun time with my friends. I also play board games.

I'm a quite radical person that are living on the verge of life (economical slightness). And only does what I think is neccessary. I like to clean and cook, which is a little... different. Like the rest of me =).

My appearance is quite radical too; I have a big hair (some call it afro) and light brown skin that has been without the sun of my homeland for ages, which has made it look almost grey-brown instead of light-brown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went to Japan for the first time in April-May 2008 and that's how I came to be with CS to begin with. I wanted a place to stay and so on.

My stay was one of the most fun, interesting and life-changing experiences in my life and it made me really think about stuff, when I came back a lot of things were different and I changed most of my lifestyle a bit but still the same.

After that I hosted a lot of people and it was really fun and enjoyable. You get to know yourself and your city in ways you didn't knew it before not to mention that I get a lot of cultural exchange and most people are fantastic!

And during one point, brief though it was, I was one of Luleås biggests Hosters around. But since then I've kind of forgotten about CS and it's just now (2015) I return again. Free as before :D

And so far I've hosted and meet a lot of people that's participating in this project. I think it's really good idea and so far I've only had good experiences so I absolutely must support this!

I must say that CS2 have impressed me in ways I never thought possible and I greatly admire the work that has been done.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time more than any book I've ever read. What a shame that he died before he could finish.

And due to this I have read all of Brandon Sanderson's books that I really like.

Brent Weeks's Books
Brian Stavely's Books
China Mieville's Books

And a lot more, and yes, including most fantasy and such. (Plus harry potter :P)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, a lot. But so far Japan is most likely the most amazing thing I've done by myself.

But other than that I thing that organising a lot of associations and organisations is one of the most noteworthy things I've done :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a lot about things that I know even though I'm only mediocre at almost everything I do except role-playing games.

I'm always open to learn, and believe it or not every encounter with being hosted or host someone gives me a great oppertunity to learn about the human mind and workings since everything I see I process, like the rest of us =).

I will always share my stories, my experiences and knowledge if I se it fit. I hope people can and will do the same. This is fun and I will hope that more people thing so too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a lot of experiences and I'm good at cooking food and love to both cook, clean and to play games!
