I've only just heard about this group, but once I get home I'll be happy to offer a couch to travelers & adventurers! For now, am just testing to waters to see how it works on this side of the ocean.

Interests

History, literature, coffee & good conversation. I love learning new things and experiencing different cultures, and would prefer to meet and chat with 'locals' than stay in hostels and meet the latest Australian backpackers on my travels :)

I'd love to improve my French & Spanish, and learn the basics of any other languages I encounter along the way. And I love learning history as the locals see out - outside of the impersonal textbooks. I am happy to share whatever skills someone feels they could use from me, whether it's how to find the way around Scotland to language to computer help.
