COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have surfed in Switzerland and various US cites. each experience a memorable one. :)

Interests

walking to and fro, interactions between peoples and their environments, sipping una taza de café while talking with a companion, reading books (especially ones that are completely enthralling, even though this place is mighty fine), thoughtful conversation and long silences, climate change, prehistoric peoples, formal logic, conservation, ¡español!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

this one time... while casually walking down a sidewalk, minding my own, a huge black bear suddenly appeared before my eyes! she was sitting perfectly in a tree, gazing curiously at the rampant human onlookers below. i was eating vanilla bean ice cream with a hard cherry coating (perhaps why the memory is so vivid).
