I’m Hernán, a 23 years old boy from Argentina. Im finishing my grade on political science/international relations at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). I work as an advisor in the Government of Buenos Aires and as a content manager at an NGO that fights poverty in Argentina.
I love sports (amateur football player and gym enthusiast), books, photography, music (I’m a drummer), partying, cooking and watching movies.
As a traveler, i love visiting new places and immersing myself into local culture. By staying at a local’s home, i’d love to learn about their ways of living, customs and traditions.

My philosophy: “Today you, tomorrow me”
I also understand that there are a lot of travellers with a tight budget whose only possibility to keep exploring the world is by staying at someone else’s place, that’s why i accept guests at my home. And anyway, it’s funny to have someone taking me out of my routine.

I like different styles of music. Mostly rock, indie and alternative, jazz, blues,classic, electronic and funk. I’m always listening to music whenever i can. If i have to name some artists, those would be: Muse, Guns N’ Roses, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, The Strokes, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, White Stripes, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Royal Blood, AC/DC, Joe Bonamassa, Jimmi Hendrix, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Anderson Paak, Rage Against the Machine, White Lies, Foo Fighters, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Mozart, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, Justice....... and i could spend hours and hours naming artists.

My favourite book is The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco, and i also love reading books about history and politics.

My favourite movie producers are: Tarantino, Scorsese, Nolan, Woody Allen and the Coen Brothers.

I cooked Carbonara to an Italian and he congratulated me. I also spent the night in the middle of the freezing Andes mountains.

I can share my knowledge about argentine history, politics and culture. Also, as a music lover i know a lot about it.
My “favourite” period in history is the WWI, interwar and WW2 period. So i’d love to teach and learn about it.
